Third Presbyterian Church works hard to lend a helping hand near and far. We’ve been called the Pumpkin Church and we’re proud that this fundraiser allows us to further support mission projects like Haiti H2O. We also collect food, warm clothing, and other supplies for our neighbors at EECM.
In addition, the Presbyterian Women, support several local agencies as well as hands on mission work such as “Little Dresses for Africa” and “Days for Girls” to help young ladies across the ocean. The PW at Third Church host rummage sales and Holiday Bazaar to up-cycle items and benefit local mission work. PW continues to be an organizer supportive of education through its scholarship contributions.
Third Church gives financial support to mission agencies. We also allow select groups to have regular use of our building, including: AA, NA, PFLAG, Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council, The Kentucky Avenue School, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts.
Third Church has a partnership with the Verona Presbyterian Church in its community ministry for youth and temporarily homeless families.
